An American photographer living it up in the Garden of England, with my husband, our two little boys, & our dog, Lady. I was born & raised in the Pacific Northwest, so ALL of my love for wildlife & nature was growing right there with me. I've always loved being surrounded by lots of colour, which reflects heavily in my photography style (and usually, my hair.)

I’m a photographer based in Kent, specialising in documentary/candid style weddings. I really believe you should ‘feel’ a photograph. Not just something that looks good, but ones that tell the story and capture those true emotions. I’ll be your friend. That person to give you that “you got this” look before you walk down the aisle. I’ll make you feel at ease in front of the lens & promise to tell you if you have something in your teeth.

We're Andrew and Isla Smith, a freelance husband & wife photography team based in Hastings, East Sussex. We met at work, got married 4 years later in 2017, and have been capturing weddings since 2019. We’ve been living on the coast since 2022, and by sheer coincidence, we now live only 10 minutes down the road from where we got married in Rye! As a child growing up in the 80's my senses were overloaded with images of movie posters, the beautiful and daring cinematography of that decade left an impression on me, I fell in love with their colour, texture, expressions and emotions. I view weddings like those movies with gorgeous colours of the flowers and the bridesmaids dresses, soft delicate textures of the wedding dress and a range of beautiful expressions and emotions.
