Summer 2013 was the start of something magical… I took the plunge, used all my savings and began my amazing journey to become a bridal makeup artist. Every weekend through the summer I would travel from North Yorkshire to Bath to learn new skills, equip my kit with staple makeup pieces and complete lessons and coaching with numerous renowned makeup artists at Bath Academy of Media Makeup. By Autumn I had a newfound confidence and a bucket full of excitement to start my own bridal makeup business back home in North Yorkshire. Now ten years on, I have my dream bridal makeup kit that is full of luxury, mesmerising products, so many lovely words from beautiful brides and an exciting year ahead full of wonderful weddings, including my own! My makeup training included fashion, beauty, and bridal however, through the many looks over the weeks of the course I always preferred creating natural makeup looks, I felt inspired and comfortable around them.
