- Hello, my name is Katie-Jane Whitlock and I set up my bridal hair business 4 years ago as a little part-time job around my two kids. This then turned into a full time career and my dream job, something I had spent many years trying to find. The last 4 years have been a whirlwind and I have been really lucky to have worked on TV sets such as 'Downton Abbey' and 'The Vikings'. I have also been a regional finalist for the National Wedding Awards 2016 and 2017. I absolutely love what I do and I believe this has helped me achieve the things I have so far. My style is very bohemian but I love creating all styles and am always looking at new ways to create a brides perfect look. Many of my brides have kindly told me that it's like having an old friend style their hair and this is something I hold close to my heart. I always want my brides to feel as relaxed as they can on their wedding day, feel confident and have fun. I work really hard with every one of my brides to achieve their perfect look, from the moment they get in touch to the moment I say goodbye. I absolutely adore hairstyles which sit and flow naturally but will stay put until the early hours. I hope that I can offer brides a unique look and a really fun and friendly service.

After the initial contact and gathering of details, a holding deposit invoice gets sent out and a trial is booked. An email consultation is carried out prior to the trial discussing styles and sharing ideas and images. The trial then takes place. Images from the trial are sent out and the style is discussed and confirmed. A schedule is made and a further invoice with all costings is sent out. Contact is continued up until the big day itself.
