What is your most memorable wedding?
My own! Just hours before lockdown skin of our teeth and terrified boris may call it, our weird , wonderful, quirky and beautiful day was not exactly what I had planned but we got the legal bit done, we all smelt of hand sanitizer (I say all 😆) and I was napping by 4.15 . Where did you honeymoon? Morocco? Japan? France!? .... nah.... tesco click and collect 🥰😆
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
My style is bright, quirky, retro , vintage , mashup! But it's not about ME!
I'm on board if you want a mohawk or bohemian bun or a sleek audrey Hepburn inspired style 😘 whatever enhances your style.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Lots of things really, I never had much forethought when I was made redundant at 20. But my awards and publications I am so proud of! 1st place national and runner up international in my 20s i never ever expected , it took alot of work and stress , and I'm pleased to lay back a bit and just enjoy brides for a few years
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Food! Have lots and lots of food to nibble on in the morning
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
Plan ! I like to provide a rundown, I'm so monika I list who's first second third what time even advise when to allow for food, dress ,
Ofcourse it doesnt always go to plan, that's okay!
But it does stop alot of faffing!
I also carry a CALM kit , I have the app, earphones and rescues remedy alongside a lavender roll in my bag, sometimes pass headphones. Block out the noise and simply block the brides with my own body 😂(I got you!) I stop unimportant questions (that's why you have bridesmaid!) And just let you be for a few minutes whist I curl , let shoulders drop
Works a charm.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Just relax and enjoy!
