I am a friendly, professional, qualified freelance makeup artist. Specialising in bridal makeup and special occasions, with so much love for what I do! Originally in 2006, I trained as a beauty therapist. However, my real passion is makeup. I trained at the Academy of Freelance Makeup in London, who have cemented their position as one of the worlds most recognised and unrivaled makeup academies in the world. I was awarded the 'Total Professional Creative Specialist' certificate in freelance makeup. I attend regular masterclasses to keep up with the latest techniques and trends as makeup evolves. Some of the many brands I use on my clients to create flawless looks include Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, Anastasia Beverley Hills, Huda Beauty, NARS, Laura Mercier, Violet Voss, Urban Decay, Bobbi Brown, Morphe and lots more! I am fully insured and adhere to hygiene standards. I am based in Sandhurst, Berkshire and invite you to my welcoming home studio. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions that you may like to ask - I'm always happy to help :-) I look forward to meeting you and making you look and feel fabulous!

What is your most memorable wedding?
Disney themed wedding - because, I love disney!!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, soft glam, modern makeup
What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm a friendly makeup artist and I like to make my clients feel at ease in my company. I will listen to the look that you would like to achieve and will stop at every stage of your makeup application to make sure you are completely happy and look perfect for your incredibly special day! I only book one wedding per day to ensure that the bride has as much time as she would like with me.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book everything you can as early as possible! This will ensure you have the people/services you want for your day and reduces any wedding planning stresses. And, don't sweat the small things :-)
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Charms attached to the bride's bouquet of their loved ones that have passed away.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Being a makeup artist, I primary work with the bride. We will book a trial for her makeup, look at some inspiration together at the trial (if she doesn't have any inspiration we will create something special together) and apply the makeup. The trial normally consists of lots of laughs, a cup of tea/or bubbles and sometimes happy tears!
What do you love most about your job?
Making my clients smile
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Do not change your skin care routine on the run up to your big day (to avoid breakouts). Stay with your usual skin care routine for up to 3 months, although a radiance face mask is nice and relaxing the night before the big day.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I laugh a lot with my brides and ensure she doesn't panic over small things - I'm married myself and know how flawless a bride wants her day to be! I will also give her a mini facial before her makeup is applied to help her relax.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
If she has extremely oily skin (like myself) I will provide her with blotting pads to absorb any excess oil towards the end of the day, I also advise my brides to purchase their chosen lip colour, so they are able to top this up during the day if required.
