Previously known as Beauté Rooms, The Makeup Company have since expanded to cover all aspects of the Makeup Industry and have spent the last 5 years creating an extensive portfolio and building knowledge within the industry.
After giving birth to our beautiful daughter Poppy Emilia on Christmas Day 2015, I decided that I wanted to be able to appreciate every second of her future and that would mean specialising in one specific area of the Beauty Industry, the most enjoyable and exciting part of my job, Makeup. In 2015, I made the decision to close the Beauté Rooms salon based in Lenwade and with my partner Simon at my side, I set up my own freelance company The Makeup Company and since then I have never looked back.
My makeup services are tailor-made for each client, individual care and attention is what has made my business a success. Every client deserves to leave feeling her absolute best, I enhance your natural beauty and celebrate your best features using a combination of ground-breaking skills and techniques I have gained over the years.
As a result, you'll feel like the most beautiful lady in the room, whatever the event.
Get in touch with me today to discuss your look, and how together we can make your beauty shine through.

What is your most memorable wedding?
Nana Liz (this was her nickname), renewed her vows are 25 years and on her wedding day she never had a professional photographer and on the renewal she also hadn't arranged one. Her friends and family decided to all chip in and surprise her on the morning with a very smart looking professional photographer to capture every moment. It was a very emotional moment!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Classic, Beautiful, Flawless, Bespoke, Clean.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I am extremely proud of the nominations and awards that I have had over the past year. Being recognised for doing what you love is the best feeling in the world!
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy every single second, the time literally flies!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
It has to be Jodie and CJ's wedding morning. Jodie had hand written out a personalised letter for each of her bridesmaids and put it in a bag along with a few gifts. The girls then one by one opened the letter and read it aloud, Jodie had made sure that everyone had someone else's letter to read, making it even more emotional. Thankfully I hadn't started on the makeup. Phew!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Couple? Honestly I never meet the groom. haha. It's all about the ladies! A bespoke, personalised trial in our beautiful salon, along with a login to your very own online bridal page on our website, fancy eh. That way you can see absolutely everything from products used to pictures taken and it contains all of your information and quote, making your organising that little bit more stressfree!
What do you love most about your job?
Champagne before 10am! Only kidding, I love the atmosphere of a wedding, everyone is on a high and it is just so exciting!
What is your #1 beauty tip for a bride?
Do not touch your face! The oils in your fingers will be transferred to your flawless skin giving you that oily look we all dread!
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
Did I mention Champagne before 10am? That should do it ;)
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Dust translucentpowder over your face throughout the day, this will avoid you looking oily and will keep your makeup looking fresh.
