What is your most memorable wedding?
I've been lucky enough to make wedding cakes for some beautiful, incredibly creative receptions. I think the most memorable has to be my first wedding cake which I made for a friend over 10 years ago. She had a Bollywood Theme and I hand made hundreds of hot pink and red flowers to go on the large four tiered cake. It had to travel from London to Taunton in a heatwave and the nerves were intense. But it made it in one piece and was a resounding success. I had already made my mind up that I wanted to pursue cakes as a career but when I saw the significance they have at the centre of a wedding reception first hand I realised just how rewarding that career choice would prove to be.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I am have achieved a number of things that I am extremely proud of since starting the business in 2015 including lovely features in the press but I am most proud of the fact that so many couples have chosen me to make their cake. It never stops being an honour to be asked to be part of such an important event in a couple's journey.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Your wedding is about your love and commitment to each other. Yes, you are also hosts and need to consider your guests but don't be afraid to make it really personal. Everyone will be there because you mean something to them and they will love to see all the touches that relate back to who you both are.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I have a cake coming up which will have M&S chocolate caterpillars on the top because the couple love them. It's great to have a bit of fun with things!
