What is your most memorable wedding?

We created a huge wedding cake for a very lavish exclusive wedding at Cliveden House Hotel in July 2018 - this was one of our biggest ever project with many hundreds of sugar flowers created for a full floral cascade on the cake.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

bespoke, unique, personal, quality, delicious

What about your business are you most proud of?

I am proud to have grown from a small home based business to a well known wedding supplier with stunning business premises which offers flexible employment to my staff offering a service that we are told regularly exceeds customers expectations - all at a reasonable price.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Enjoy your planning, employ experienced and well recommended wedding suppliers and don't sweat the small stuff - trust in and let your suppliers take care of the details.

What is your signature cake?

We don't have a signature cake - all our cakes reflect each couple for whom they are made

What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?

Two pairs of feet! A couple met on a beach holiday and enjoyed many holidays together before they married. Everywhere they went the photographed their feet in the sea! So we created their feet in the sea - in lemon sponge!

Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.

As a teenager I enrolled in the Duke of Edinburgh's award scheme with a church group. You had to learn a new skill so I asked a family friend who iced and decorated cakes if she would teach me as the 'skills' section of my bronze award. I went on to learn more for my silver award and became hooked. I made my first wedding cake at age 16 for a relative and continued as a hobby for many years until I married and had a family when I turned my hobby into a business. My husband gave up his job shortly afterwards to join me as my business partner (having never made a cake before in his life!). We have been in business 15 years and married for 15 and a half!!

What would be your show stopper in the Great British Bake Off?

One of our deluxe chocolate cakes!
