That I've built the whole thing up on my own.

Each cake is an original. Possibly the most challenging was a huge, vintage style cake. Covered in lace and roses.

Individual, stylish, adaptable, unique, memorable.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Using the actual lace from the wedding dress to emboss onto the cake.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Give yourself twice the time you think you need. Don't wait to book anything you've your heart set on. Good suppers book up fast!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
A couple will contact me (I don’t have a brochure as BrideBook suggests I do). Once I know the size and rough design I will put together a quote. Then we will meet for a tasting and to finalise design.
What is your signature cake?
I was asked to do a wedding. I loved doing it so much I decided to get into it full time.
What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?
The biggest chocolate cake I could manage covered in sugar flowers!
Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.
That changes with the seasons. But I think I'm known for my sugar flowers.
What would be your show stopper in the Great British Bake Off?
I did the wedding cake for top model Jade Parfitt which was featured in Hello! Magazine.
