Full Description
  • At Dragons & Daffodils Cakes, I believe that on your special day, you should have a bespoke creation that is perfect for you. I sit with my clients and design a cake just for you, using the beautiful embroidery on your wedding dress to inspire the hand-piped details on your cake. I am heavily influenced by nature to produce realistic sugar flowers to match your bridal bouquet. Want something a little different? Why not have personalised modelled figures on your cake and even your hobbies and interests or a sculpted design.

Ask a question
What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding was a four feet tall cake for a wonderful couple who were great Harry Potter fans. The front of the cake was by day and when you turned around, it was night time, complete with the first year students in the little boats crossing the lake to arrive at Hogwarts for the first time.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Innovative Contemporary Unique Romantic Modern
What about your business are you most proud of?
Working closely with the happy couple to produce the cake of their dreams. Attention to detail and freshness of cake is paramount, even if I have to work through the night.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do your research. Have a look on the internet to see styles that are current, but allow a good budget as cheap cake isn't good and good cake isn't cheap.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Visit the Viewings page on my website to find out more of what to expect at your consultation.
What is your signature cake?
My woodland design
What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?
I make lots of unusual styles so would struggle to find just one. Whether it is Harry Potter, Star Wars, The Walking Dead, in the shape of a London Taxi. It is a fabulous job
Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.
I started making cakes for my sons first birthday and discovered a whole new world when I stepped into a Sugarcraft Supplies shop. 20 years later I am still passionate about my career.
What would be your show stopper in the Great British Bake Off?
One of my chocolate creations with sugar flowers
