Eat My Muffin Bakery lives to bake and design cakes, we are able to provide beautiful tiered cakes, favours, dessert tables and any other baked goods you want to make your day unique to you. If it can be baked Eat My Muffin Bakery can provide it for you. All work is carried out by Sarah - no outsourcing for the sugar flowers or baked items means full control over the quality you receive. We use all natural products in our goods. There is no use of cheap margarine/baking fats or chemical flavourings ensuring your goods taste as good as they look. We will also deliver in our super Eco electric car!

What is your most memorable wedding?

Apart from my own? A really fun Halloween wedding that was super hero meets Tim Burton! The design was so unique to the couple and I was lucky to be invited to the reception where zombies attended in film quality makeup and scared so many people when they stood behind them! The photos from this wedding were truly amazing and unique and everyone had such fun

What about your business are you most proud of?

All my decorating skills are self taught through practice and hard work, achieving my awards at an international competition where industry giants judge your work at such a high standard and you are competing with the best in the world is a personal high

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Show off your personalities, it is a great chance for people to learn more about you as a couple

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A Lego themed wedding where each guest had a Lego figure that matched their personality or looks

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Couples normally start by checking my availability, if I’m available you can either book a consultation or start by checking I am within your ideal budget. Once we’ve sat and designed your perfect cake I give my couples a week to go away and consider their design and the cake flavours they have tasted. A deposit is then due and all paperwork is emailed over. 6 weeks out I get in touch to confirm all details and final balance 4 weeks before your wedding day the balance will be due On the week I am in touch confirming times of set up etc and sending any updates you’ve asked for. I will be in touch as much or as little as you require.

A full dessert table of the couples favourite treats all personalised for them with colours, initials and flavours

Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.

I have always loved to bake from an early age. Once my son was born I started to make his birthday cakes and learn decorating. As I got older and friends were getting married I would be asked to create a cake for them. That’s when I knew this is what makes me happy and what I was meant to do with my baking and art.

What would be your show stopper in the Great British Bake Off?

French pastry is a passion for me so something from that skill
