What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
When you come to see me bring your mood boards, Pinterest pins, material samples, invites or just about anything you’ve already planned for your wedding, these will help me get a feel for your wedding and often become the basis of your design for your wedding cake. It’s amazing what inspiration can be found from what you’ve already organised.

Too many to mention, something heartfelt or personal always goes a long way for me.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
First point of contact is usually through my social media or email. We can then arrange a consultation either in person or via media platforms that suit us both. At which point we discuss designs, themes, or cakes you may have already seen. We discuss numbers, flavours, cake tastings can be arranged for the same time, and those details that are important to you. I then quick sketch a design to make sure I’ve captured the essence of what you want. A further detailed cake proposal is sent should you decide to go ahead after initial consultation including your quote. One a booking fee is paid you are considered booked. 8 weeks before the cake is due final payment is made and we finalise all the details for your booking. The week of the wedding I touch base to check how your doing and also contact the venue to discuss directly delivery arrangements and set up so it’s one less job for you to do. On the day I’ll confirm when the cake has been delivered so that all that’s left for you to do is relax and enjoy your day.
