Jip’s Cakes specialises in creating beautiful bespoke cakes for weddings, parties and special celebrations. We are a home-based cake decorator based in Bishop’s Stortford, Essex. We offer a highly professional and personal service from the initial consultation to the delivery and set up of your memorable cake. We truly love what we do and that shows in the immaculate finish on our cakes…they really are edible work of art!

We booked Jip during lockdown so unfortunately we couldn’t meet in person. Jip kindly posted us a tasting box which arrived beautifully packaged. From the first spoonful of cake my husband and I knew we had to have Jip make our wedding cake, we didn’t even want to talk to anyone else. During our virtual meeting with Jip we knew she understood exactly what we wanted and boy did she deliver!!! The wedding cake not only looked incredible, it tasted divine! I have never tasted cake so good.

Our Wedding cake was AMAZING!! What can we say about our cake!! Absolute perfection!! Jips Cakes exceeded our expectations, our wedding cake looked absolutely beautiful!! It was exactly how we had hoped and imagined and each layer tasted absolutely delicious!! All our wedding guests loved it!!! The cake pops Jip made for my bridal party were delicious and the attention to detail they had with the colours of the ribbons were fantastic! Jips was extremely professional and friendly...

Jip was super accommodating after multiple cancelled dates for our wedding. The whole experience with Jip was amazing from the tasting session through to the delivery and set up of our cake. I wouldn’t change a thing! The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious! The flavours were fantastic! Our favourite had to be the mango and passion fruit. Highly recommended! Scott and Leanne x
