- Your wedding cake is an essential centre piece of your wedding. One of your first acts as husband and wife/ wife and wife/ husband and husband is to cut the cake together, so it’s important you get the wedding cake of your dreams. We offer all our couples a design and tasting consultation so we can get to know you and your style. We’ll work with your themes and ideas to design your perfect cake, whether you’re looking for something traditional, quirky, vintage or modern. We’re sure you’ll love our delicious flavours and wide variety of decadent fillings. We offer a different flavour for every tier of your cake as standard and will happily cater for most allergies and intolerances – no one should miss out on cake!

What is your most memorable wedding?
Either a six tier Marie Antoinette pastel and gold confection which we had to take by road and ferry to a venue just outside of Dublin, or a five tier Indian Summer behemoth which was held up by four gold sugar elephants! I do like a challenge

What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Save some of your wedding cake, even if it's sponge! My cakes are all baked fresh for each wedding so left over slices can be frozen. Keep some of each flavour so when your professional photos arrive, you can sit back with a glass of fizz and a slice of wedding cake and relive your wonderful day!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Upon receipt of an enquiry, I offer ball park prices for the size of cake required (I usually give a few options so you can see what suits you). From there, I put together some design ideas ahead of a face to face tasting and consultation. I do charge for my consultations, but that fee comes off the cost of your cake if you book. At the tasting you try a variety of sponges and fillings so you can create a custom combination and I put together a bespoke design. We keep in touch to check colour swatches, theme changes etc and on the day I deliver and set up your stunning wedding cake!
What is your signature cake?
My Vanilla Passion I think - a light sponge with real vanilla seeds from Madagascar partnered with a deliciously mouthwatering passion fruit buttercream and a juicy passion fruit curd. It is delicious!
What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?
A four tier cake with a carousel of horses that actually rotated!
