What about your business are you most proud of?
I love having a small part of my couples special day, I have a huge sense of pride seeing the finished wedding cakes set up as a visual centrepiece at their venues ready for when they arrive to celebrate with all their friends and family.

Enjoy Every Minute! - from the start of your engagement, the entire journey planning your special day, and especially the main event - your wedding day itself!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
So many to choose from! .....but one of my favourite personal touches was one of my couples being Harry Potter fans had a beautiful barn owl as their ring bearer which was also featured on their silhouette 'love story' wedding cake.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Although not essential, often I will meet with the couple for a consultation, which is a lovely relaxed meeting to discuss their ideas for there wedding cake. This is a perfect opportunity for them to sample a selection of the cake flavours I offer and view my portfolio.
Designs can be created bespoke to the couples individual style, taste and themes or I offer a range of set designs to choose from.

My Chocolate & Baileys Cake - the most popular of my many mouthwatering flavours!
What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?
Every wedding cake is unique and personal to each individual couple's style, theme and taste. My most unusual creation was a Bespoke design that was themed to match the couples love of Hong Kong, Japan and Italy. The couple were thrilled with the finished result which had incorporated so many of their ideas and personalised touches.
Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.
From a young age I loved to bake with my mum, I then started my career as a patisserie chef, with a passion for puddings, cakes and all things pretty! I was lucky enough to work with some of the UK’s finest patisserie chefs in some beautiful venues and go on to create Sarah Louise Cakes.
