All our cakes are baked on the premises. We are one of the very few speciality bakers in Scotland who can actually bake our own cakes. Most companies use a pre-mix for baking wedding cakes, which is something anyone can do! We have the facilities and knowledge to bake the perfect sponge! Speciality cakes have developed mouth-watering wedding cakes throughout the years resulting in our famous genoese sponge, light, moist and layered with our own buttercream and jam. With this wonderful sponge we can bake world class wedding cakes, birthday and communion cakes. We also use chocolate sponge or our famous fruit cake, finely tuned and developed to perfection. Our fruit cakes are laced with brandy and matured for several months then finished off with a generous layer of high quality real natural marzipan. We have kept the qualities of a rich fruit cake but incorporated the traditional tastes of Scottish dumpling, making it a real wedding cake winner.
You do not need an appointment to pop down to our friendly bakery and view our extensive range of Wedding, birthday and communion cakes. We are open Monday-Saturday 9.30-5pm.
