My studio .... I've gone from starting in a kitchen to having a fully functional studio with teaching facilities where I teach and host internationally renown sugar artists to teach classes.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The couple had small wooden logos carved for all their suppliers ...
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once a couple has decided to use my services, they are invited for a full consultation. This includes a tasting and I talk to them about themselves, their theme and look at any mood boards and ideas they may have. From this I formulate some ideas, sketch down on a pad ... and at the end of the session the couple will have a visual idea of their cake.
What is your signature cake?
All my cakes are different, they reflect the couple getting married
What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?
The most original was an autumnal cake with a hidden panel ... the hidden panel had hogwarts, Dumbledores chamber and then a rock cliff which then went into the ocean where there was a coral reef. ... it was lit with lights in certain places to highlight....the couple were big harry potter fans and also marine biologists
Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.
I've always been arty, and baked ... I ordered a birthday cake from a well known store ... was very disappointed.. and thought I could do better ... so I did ... the rest is history
What would be your show stopper in the Great British Bake Off?
I could never do a show stopper in 5 hours ... it takes that long just to cover my tiers to my exacting standards
