Wildflower Cakes specialises in elegant handcrafted cakes, using only the finest quality of ingredients. Established by Arianna Lauren, originally trained in the art of French Patisserie at the world renowned Le Cordon Bleu. She then worked for many of London's leading high-end wedding cake companies, developing her skills and experience, before setting up her own company. Each cake is individually designed and decorated, bringing together the couples look and feel of their day. Using a combination of modern and classic techniques such as hand-painting, sugar flowers, guilding in gold and silver leaf and royal icing piping, every cake is unique and sure to be a stunning focal point to the reception. Taste is just as important as the design, with each cake baked in-house, using delicious and high quality ingredients.

What is your most memorable wedding?
A lovely couple who got married a "Paradise by way of Kensal Green", what a beautiful and unique venue!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Modern, floral, elegant, delicate, whimsical
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't forget a cake stand! It makes such a difference to display your cake on a beautiful stand, lifting your cake off the table to create more height and elegance. I rent out a range of stands to match with your cake.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The speeches are always my favourite personal touch, I think it is far more personal to hear touching words said about the couple than anything else!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initial enquiries can be made by email or telephone, where I would ask about the wedding date, venue, number of guests you are looking to serve and theme/colour schemes. Then a personal consultation can be arranged, where a sketch of the design will be made along with a tasting of delicious cake samples. From there, an order form is put together with details of the order and design, along with payment terms. I will liaise with the venue to arrange delivery and set up timings, in order to make it as easy and seamless for you on the day.
What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?
A cake sculpted to look like the Albert Bridge, complete with lights!
