Claire and Collin where sensational on the day all my guests commented 100% perfection ! Claire even solved a serious dress dilemma. I cannot express my gratitude enough for what you done for us. Nothing was to much trouble for you guys full of great ideas and guidance as well as much needed support on the day x

We were extremely happy with everything
Thanks to you and your team, we were extremely happy with everything on the day of the wedding. It was a perfect day and we got extremely lucky with the weather as well. Sophie and all the front of house team were excellent, as was the food that was presented for the wedding breakfast. We had numerous comments from guests who all thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

We’d like to express a massive thank you...
On behalf of both of our families, we’d like to express a massive thank you for all your hard work and organisation to make sure that our wedding weekend was perfect! We’re just back from a week in Italy otherwise, we’d have been in touch sooner! We were so impressed with your attention to detail and creativity throughout the whole process from when we first started planning the wedding right through to the execution at the event. We’ve received so many positive comments from guests that the food was delicious at the wedding and the BBQ. We loved how you set up the antipasti table – you really managed to bring my vision to life! The different types breads went so well with the cold meats and various dips, and the roasted vegetable involtini were so tasty! As for the Wedding Breakfast, the presentation of the soup was just beautiful. So many of our guests said that they almost didn’t want to eat it as it looked so pretty but then delved in to what was a refreshing soup (a pleasant surprise when it was such a hot day) with such a depth of flavour! The lamb was exquisite and packed a real punch; we were so impressed how you were able to turn out well cooked lamb to 133 guests! The lamb shoulder beignet really added a wow factor to the dish and the potato gallete was lovely and creamy. The pea shoot and asparagus salad was a perfect accompaniment to the lamb. The desert was just delicious – the duo sat so beautiful on the plate and complemented each other perfectly. As for the evening supper – everyone was raving about the haggis pies and freshly cooked fish and chips. Claire and Nigel, you were such a pleasure to work with. I know we made the planning process difficult with all of our last minute requests and changes but you always made us feel as nothing was too much trouble. I’m still in awe at your organisation of the event. I was at such ease that the day was going to go well with all the thought you’d put into the day – no small detail was missed! Fred, you did a fantastic job of coordinating the wedding day and the BBQ. I can only imagine the amount of work involved and you executed it perfectly. You must have been exhausted by the Sunday night but we really appreciate all your hard work. The Sunday BBQ was a perfect way to finish off the wedding celebrations. Again, the food was amazing. The mini burgers and chicken were perfectly cooked and succulent and those salads were so tasty. My mum in particular, really appreciated all the work you put in as she’s the one who is usually running around cooking and serving food whenever she hosts parties and for once, she was able to relax and not worry about a thing! We were all amazed come the Monday morning that all evidence of the previous day’s BBQ had gone – there was no mess for us to deal with! Thank you. Having been to many weddings and large corporate events over the last few years (and without trying to be too biased!), the food served by Appetite is by far the most unique and delicious that I’ve tasted and the service and execution of the event was just outstanding. All of our guests came away from the wedding telling us that the Woodrow-Shaw wedding is by far the best wedding they’ve ever been to (with the exception of their own weddings!) and this came down to all the hard work from yourselves and Winton House.

What is your most memorable wedding?

This is a tough one as we have done so many cool weddings. Most recently was probably Zitlali and David's wedding which was held at Winton House and was a three day extravaganza. The wedding was in May and had a garden party theme. The weather was really bad either side of the wedding day but on the day the sun came out and it was glorious!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We like to get to know our brides and grooms and really get an understanding of their requirements and what they are trying to achieve. Most weddings we do involve several meetings and at least one tasting and the correspondence can sometime run into a hundred or more emails. We like to make sure that everything is perfect from the first call to the post wedding follow up.
