Don't be afraid to ask for advice but don't be railroaded into what you need - it's your day, so do it your way!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I always leave a card for the happy couple.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After the initial enquiry, I contact you via email to outline what I offer then offer a phone call to discuss. I ask for completion of a booking form with a 30% deposit or £50 save the date deposit if over 12 months in advance. We will then sit down and discuss the day in detail together with the offer of a food tasting. Food tastings are available before booking at £35pp and then this amount is deducted from the deposit if booked. I will visit the venue with you to help with the planning and am available any time to answer any queries or to make changes. I then ask for final details to be confirmed with the balance payment 4 weeks before the big day. I am always on hand on the day to make sure everything goes smoothly.
What is the most innovative dish you have created for a wedding?
Rather than specific dishes, I tend to get couples to think of a special time, place, holiday etc and then I will write a menu based on that. For example, one couple got engaged in Greece, so their hot buffet became entirely Greek!
What is the food of love?
Anything that a couple enjoy together!
