Five stars for Dine! The best service on the best day!
We had an amazing wedding at Howsham Hall in October 2019. It's an incredible venue - the biggest bridal suite in the world (surely!!!), beautiful house and the most wonderful food and service from the Dine team. Craig is great and he leads an excellent team - all of whom were extremely professional and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble for the Dine team - they really take care to keep Howsham Hall looking absolutely stunning, and we had so many great comments about the food - portions are big and the quality is superb! Dine is a really well-run and smooth operation - and they deliver a truly special service for a special wedding day.

What is your most memorable wedding?

We created a dish of rabbit 3 ways for a recent event- it was incredible and a really unusual dish. Definitely a winner!

The one where the groom performed a song to his new bride instead of a groom's speech- it was amazing!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

We would have an initial chat about your ideas, dates and budget, and create a menu for you. If you're happy with that we will get you booked in! Your Event Manager will keep in touch with you about the planning in the run up to the big day. You may need a lot of help co-coordinating the planning, or you may not, depending what sort of wedding you are having- your Event Manager will be able to advise.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Our team- they go above and beyond to make sure our couples have a wonderful day.

Whatever you want it to be!

How would you wow the judges on Masterchef?

Practice, practice, practice- it doesn't matter what the ingredients are, the experience of the chef and the team will always tell.

What is the most innovative dish you have created for a wedding?

It's so hard to think of just one! All weddings are wonderful events. We are so lucky to spend our working lives helping people with their special days.

What is the food of love?

Get ideas of what you want for your day, and stick to it- If you try to take everyone's opinions into account you can end up getting in a muddle and spoiling the day you wanted to have.

What is your secret ingredient?

It might not sound innovative but was certainly tricky- grand marnier souffles. It was for a wedding for 300 people, in a marquee. In a field. We had to have extra ovens specially for it, heat the kitchen tent to prevent the souffles dropping once they came out of the ovens.... it was a triumph but you'd never know the hard work that had to go in to it!
