- I set up I Do Wedding Catering about seven years ago, when I started breeding my own pigs and doing hog roasts. Soon, I was asked to cater a wedding, and the business has grown rapidly ever since, with my partner (now wife), Kate, joining me in 2013. We love to help our clients with their wedding plans. We believe the food and service forms an important part of the big day, and we always take care to get it right. Our approach is to make honest, home-made food with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients wherever possible; food that is tasty and memorable. It’s a real family business with our two sons working with us when they can. We also employ carefully chosen, experienced and friendly staff because we know how important these things are. Keeping the service personal, and providing the best we can for your big day, is what really matters to us. I still do the cooking too. Not so many hog roasts now though... Over the years we have catered in some amazing venues. In fields and gardens, by lakes, in barns, and even half-way up a mountain in the middle of winter, we have always delivered a delicious menu, tailored to your requirements. What about your business are you most proud of?
We make all our own food and focus on making it tasty, then serve it in some amazing venues. If you have an idea of what you want for your wedding but can't find it on the menu, then just ask. If we can do it for 100 people and within your budget, we will.

Describe your typical process with a couple.
If you like the look of our menu, then we invite you to our home for a taster meal and a good chat through all your ideas and plans. Once you've booked us we liaise with you in the lead up to the big day, and work with you to make sure everything is in place. Then we deliver a great service to make your day memorable.
What is the most innovative dish you have created for a wedding?
We develop our own recipes all the time, but one particular current favourite is our Chorizo Scotch Quails Eggs that we serve as canapes or part of a sharing platter for starters.
What is your secret ingredient?
Bags of enthusiasm, a handful of creativity, a love of flavour, and a whole heap of wedding love.
