We are delighted to be the exclusive caterer for Cumbria's best boutique venue, Eden Wedding Barn. We have a range of exciting menus for your canapes, wedding breakfast and evening food, which will delight your taste buds and impress your guests. From rustic barbecues to fine-dining meals there is something for everyone. Most importantly, we believe that every couple is unique, and we love to create bespoke menus if you have something extra special in mind! Providing wholesome dishes of the highest quality is the key to making your day exceed all expectations. Our food is freshly prepared and beautifully presented to the highest standards by Luke and his chefs, then expertly served by Jen and her friendly front of house team. Cumbria offers fantastic local produce right on our doorstep, and we love to adapt our menus according to what is available each season. Working closely with the Eden Barn team, our service allows you to relax on the big day, as we include everything you need from crockery, linen and table dressing, to a master of ceremonies to guide you through the day seamlessly.

Delicious and Seamless

Southcott Catering helped our wedding breakfast run smoothly and easily. The service on the day was seamless. They even served hot chocolate alongside the tea and coffee at our request, which was appreciated by a handful of our guests. The food was amazing and I know enjoyed by everyone. I especially want to thank them for catering for our coeliac guests on the day.

Our experience with Southcott Events Catering was fantastic, from our first venue meeting, to the lovely food tasting morning at their kitchens and right through to our wedding day. Jen is so friendly and organised and helped us with the timings of our day as well as the food. She really made us feel like everything was under control and it helped us feel a lot more relaxed, especially on the wedding day itself, as she made sure everything ran smoothly for us so that we didn’t have to worry. The food was amazing and catered for all diets, and dishes were adapted to cater for one severe nut allergy, whilst still allowing us to have our perfect menu. The service was impeccable and our guests loved the wedding breakfast. SEC without a doubt serve the best sticky toffee pudding we’ve ever had (we’ve had a lot!) The starter and main options on their menu are really inventive, as are the intricate canapés (the mini sausages, mini bruschettas and mini shepherds pies went down a treat!) We can’t recommend Jen and Luke enough!

To the lovely Southcott team, Jez and I would like to thank you so much for making our wedding day so special. Jen, we can’t thank you enough for making the day run so smoothly. Truly faultless thanks to your hard work behind the scenes. Everything was executed perfectly and the whole day ran on time. Giving us literally nothing to worry about. Luke and the kitchen team, the meal was wonderful and we’ve had so many positive comments. A meal to remember for so many reasons. I’m sure you’ll have my mum emailing for the sticky toffee pudding recipe and I haven’t stopped craving that lamb! And thanks to the waiting staff, for being so polite and accommodating of our merry guests and ensuring Jez and I were fed and watered at all times! To all, thanks for making our visions of the day come true. We couldn’t of done it without you and you made it the smoothest of starts to our marriage. Everyone commented on how great the food was!

From the very first discussion with Jen, we knew we were in capable hands. Jen, Luke and their team were amazing. Jen was so organised and helped us plan out our day and guided us expertly through the process. Luke's food is delicious, everyone has commented on how great the food was. We are both vegetarian so wanted the veggie option to be good, and it was more than we could have hoped for - even the meat eaters said how delicious the mushroom burgers in the evening were. The whole Southcott team were great, very professional yet friendly. They even made sure we got canapes and evening food (It's really easy to forget to eat when you're having so much fun!). We couldn't recommend them enough, they were a huge part in helping us have a great day, just what you need on your special day.

Jen, Luke and the whole team at Southcott were incredible and we could not have asked for better caterers. The food was completely delicious, with so many of our guests commenting that it was the best wedding food they’d ever tasted. But it wasn’t just the food that Southcott excelled at. Jen was so incredibly helpful throughout the planning of the wedding and the team were exceptional on the day. We were thrilled with Southcott and wouldn’t think twice about recommending them.
