What is your most memorable wedding?
Each and every wedding is memorable as no two weddings are the same. Each is totally unique to the couple and reflects their individual style and personalities and I'm very proud to have played a part in their special day.

I am proud to be asked to play a part in helping to bring my clients vision for their special day to life and to help them create memories they'll treasure for a lifetime.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Be organised. This will reduce stress and make wedding planning easier. Make a list of everything you need to do (wedding planning checklists can be found on Google) and work through it step by step. Also keep a folder of all your correspondence and paperwork and a list for things like deposit payments, final balance payments, dates of meetings, dates things need to be completed by etc so you keep on top of everything.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Every wedding is personal and unique to the couple so I can't say only one.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initial contact and preliminary consultation with Decorative Details regarding the vision of your wedding or event - made via the platform of your choosing i.e. phone, email etc
Face to face consultation, during which we will:
Define your vision - you may or may not already have a vision in place. This helps sharpen your ideas into what you really want your day to look like
Outline the day - we’ll refine and outline all of your needs so that nothing is missed.
Tailor items to suit your budget - budget will be discussed and the areas most important to you will be ascertained so we can maximise what you have to spend
Source materials - if we don’t already have it we’ll do our best to source it or create it for you
Colour match - during the consultation, or at a later date if more convenient, colour samples will be shown to you to ensure we perfectly match your requirements
Provide a quotation - following the face-to-face meeting we will put together a comprehensive quote with a full breakdown of costs, specifically tailored to your wedding or event. Every item is listed so you can make an informed choice and there’s no obligation whatsoever
Meet at the venue - wherever possible, we will meet you at your venue for an informal chat, to answer any questions and to discuss any additional needs or changes
Sign the contract – once the details are decided and agreed upon, the contract will be signed by both parties. The contract terms are a deposit of 25% with the remaining balance due no later than 3 weeks before your wedding or event
