Frequently Asked Questions
(7)

What is your most memorable wedding?

It's always really special when I am embroidering napkins for someone I know as I get to go to the wedding too and see how much everyone loves their wedding favour napkins! The most memorable would have to be my sister's wedding - seeing the excited looks on everyone's faces when they realised they were able to take the napkins home as a momento was really special.

What about your business are you most proud of?

It has been born out of my love for creativity and making beautiful things, and I am so happy that I get to do it for a living!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Get organised - there's nothing worse that a last minute panic. But most of all, relax and enjoy yourself.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Other than personalised embroidered napkins (ahem!), I loved the seeing slate hearts with interesting facts about each guest as part of the place setting. They were intended to give you a conversation starter should you end up sitting next to someone you didn't know - what a great idea.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

It's as simple as taking down a few facts from you and me getting on with it! The happy couple can then focus on other things that need more attention.

What is the best themed wedding you have worked at?

A Japanese themed wedding was a favourite of mine. The couple had been there on holiday and loved it so much that they based their whole wedding on it.

What decoration do you think every wedding needs?

Candles and fairy lights, and lots of them!
