- The Event Dressers is a family run business owned and ran by Nicola and Gloria Ferguson. With over 10 years of experience in the industry we head a team of skilled stylists who take care of everything so you don’t have to. With finesse, style and a great attention to detail we are dedicated to transforming weddings and special events to the highest of standards. We love working with all of our couples on an individual basis as we know every day is as unique and as important as you. At our Cramlington showroom we offer free consultations where we can show you our full product range and discuss your ideas. Styling this throughout the year we keep up to date with the ever changing trends and themes. This is also where our onsite workshop is and where we create some of our fabulous handmade products. We offer such a wide range of products including chair covers and sashes, chiavari, ghost and cross back chair hire, chair decor, centrepieces, draping and lighting, table accessories, room decor, balloons, dance floors and much much more. What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do not follow the rules! So many of our couples ask "Should we have this?" or "Do we have to have that?" and the answer you will usually hear is no... We work with so many couples with different ideas and different priorities and we will always be honest with you and share our thoughts but it all comes down to the fact that it is your big day. There are some lovely traditions out there sometimes that's all they are and if they dont mean anything to you why should you do them? It is important to remember what this day is about and that is YOU. It is about being so in love that you want to share the rest of your lives together and do so in front of your closest family and friends.
