What is your most memorable wedding?
Mt first ever one that I helped style. Picture an 80 metre long, double height barn with the most ridiculously beautiful beams that I've even seen and with an atmosphere that just encases you in this little bubble that makes you never want to leave
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
What about your business are you most proud of?
That all of my past clients are now friends
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Hire me to help give you a stress free run up to the big day:)
Or on a serious note, it will only be yourself that notices if anything is slightly off on the actual day. The one thing your guests care most about is seeing you, their loved ones get married, they won't worry if they haven't got a favour or if a piece of bunting is slightly wonky xx
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
When children are clearly involved in the planning or have a special part to play on the day
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We normally connect over email or Facebook and then arrange a meet which always has to involve cake just as a heads up.
I let the couple talk me through all of their dreams and hopes for the big day and then we work back from there.
What is the best themed wedding you have worked at?
What are the decorative trends with brides currently?
Foliage is and will always be a huge fave not only with me but my brides too. Big statement backdrops are also here to stay for a while too.
I also love how fabrics have also been introduced in a major way. There is nothing more inviting than seeing a fleece rug on a barn floor surrounded by seating to create a cost atmosphere. Fabrics are also my best friend as for a stylist with a lot of wooden props, it helps to soften them and adds some more lighter, gentler texture to the overall effect
What is your signature finishing touch?
A personalised gift in the way of a prop that I just sneak into the styling as a surprise and as a little thank you for my couples for choosing me
What decoration do you think every wedding needs?
Fabrics, candles and my props!!
