What is your most memorable wedding?
In January 2020 we reached the National Finals of The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) and were given the Highly Commended Award for Best Venue Stylist in the whole of the UK - meaning we are officially the second best styling team in the United Kingdom! This is an incredible achievement and I am super proud of our whole team for getting this award.
In order to get to the National Finals Awards Event, we were actually voted as the Best Venue Stylist's in the East Midland's at the TWIA Regional Event in November 2019. We previously entered the awards in 2017 and came second so it is wonderful to see how our business has developed over the years to be one of the real forerunners in the wedding styling industry!
We were so honoured to be given these awards in particular because TWIA only allow votes to be generated and counted from past clients who give their testimonials to the judges and is not a popularity contest. Real Brides give Real, Honest Feedback and this is super valuable to us as a business.
An array of questions are put forward to our past clients to answer and they are asked to mark us out of 10 in various elements of our products and services such as attention to detail, communication & customer service and we are proud to say that we scored the maximum highest vote that you can get!
10 out of 10 in all categories!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

What about your business are you most proud of?
Every single one of our weddings has some personal touches added by the clients and we actively encourage it.
One really good way to personalise your wedding is through the use of table names rather than table numbers. We have used a variety of the following... Favourite songs, Romantic film names, holiday destinations, precious dates, woodland animals, Harry Potter Characters, Gin names, Famous singers... we have even used Leicester City & Manchester UTD footballer names! Think of something that is special to you and go with it - the whole wedding doesn't need to be themed but small personalised touches are great!
A number of our weddings have included a display of old family wedding photos. We lay these out according tho the couples style and theme, add candles & decorations and some personalised signage. The guests always absolutely love it - especially those whose photos are included in the display!

What are the decorative trends with brides currently?
We have styled so many beautiful weddings that it is so difficult to choose the most memorable. We once styled a beautiful 'Scottish Highlands' themed Tipi wedding in Leicestershire, where we worked closely with the bride to design a totally bespoke and original styling plan based on her family ties to Scotland.
We incorporated elements of her family heritage as this was really important to her and was the basis for the development of the styling theme. Together we then chose a variety of native Scottish animals such as the highland cow, the pheasant and the stag and used these as a starting point for the individual table centrepieces following along a woodland wedding theme. Along with a base of flat moss, we added brass candlesticks, tea light holders, woodland floral arrangements, pinecones and brass animals and created miniature Highland scenes. We also added subtle hints of blue tartan ribbon throughout to bring in the Scottish elements.
From the roof poles of the Tipi we hung sprays of woodland foliage, ferns and trailing ivy along with glass tea light baubles filled with moss and candles to complement the fairy lights provided by the tipi company Sami Tipi.
We worked so closely with the bride and groom on this particular wedding that they invited us to celebrate their arrival at the tipi with them with a glass of champagne. The mother of the bride then took us round and introduced us to all of their guests with tears in her eyes after seeing the wedding plans all come together.
It was a wonderful wedding!
