What about your business are you most proud of?

I have created a business where clients feel at home, they feel comfortable coming to my studio, working together as a team to create the perfect oitfit, its not a posh high street boutique, its a relaxed environment where I create high quality wprk but in chilled out way.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Research/mood board, look for inspiration and then work out how to make it in your style, be flexible and open minded, that helps keep it relaxed and fun.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A polaroid wall with printeg photos of the Bride(s) and Groom and their special moments in the past, either together or with friends and family. It told the story of their lives up until that point.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We have a consultation to chat through ideas, look at inspiration images and to browse samples of fabrics to see what you like and dont like. Then I work on some designs and order up samples for you, once we have the design and materials chosen, it gives us the price. You pay a deposit and I begin work on the garment. We have around 3 fittings where we discuss fit and style and make sure you are happy with how it is developing. Final balance paid on collection.

What do you love most about your job?

Creating, making things people love and building relationships with my clients.

What is your favourite style of wedding dress?

1950s, big full skirt!

What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?

A little bit of discrete lace work, a ribbon bow sewed into the inside of the dress....
