- Bridal Reloved Rowton opened earlier this year next door to Rowton Castle and is part of the Bridal Reloved Franchise - the UK's only pre-owned wedding dress chain. Bridal Reloved sell immaculate pre-owned wedding dresses which are either brand new, ex-sample or worn once and cleaned. Rowton boutique owner Jenny Powell explained "The idea behind Bridal Reloved is to help people spend less on their wedding without compromising on design, style and class, which is why we only sell top designers. We have just secured an exclusive range of approved gowns from leading Shrewsbury designer Claire Mischevani which we are very excited about! We also stock top quality gowns from Jenny Packham, Vera Wang, Ian Stuart, Justin Alexander and Claire Pettibone to name a few. All the gowns are on our website and Facebook page so check us out to see what we have in store as stock is constantly changing". The new boutique is proving popular with brides-to-be. One recent bride said "Your selection of dresses is fantastic and far better than any others in the area. Your boutique is very relaxing and topped off by your friendly professional service. I'm so excited for my wedding day to wear my beautiful dress" - Aug 2016. Bridal Reloved Rowton is the only bridal boutique in Shropshire to have been nominated as a West Midlands regional finalist for The Wedding Industry Awards 2017

What is your most memorable wedding?
My brother's wedding in 2008 was great fun - in the heart of East London, it was a multicultural mishmash with Dhol drummers, the bride wearing red and a hired tricycle from Christiania Bikes which my brother used to transport his new wife, my niece and his unborn second child to their reception in the local community hall. Very unlike anything Ive ever been to but it was just so them.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Practical, classic, unfussy, quality, fun.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Our amazing Customer Service - see for yourself from our fantastic reviews! We offer a truly personal service and aim to make every bride feel like she has found somewhere special where she is the most important person ever to have set foot in the boutique,
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Reviews and recommendations are worth far more than a front page Google ranking. Listen to your friends' experiences and look for the personal touch from your suppliers. If they don't seem to get you then look elsewhere til you find someone who does.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The bride's father was a vicar so he performed the ceremony - very special.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I don't work with couples as a rule - just the bride. It's a matter of welcoming her and her entourage in store with a cuppa or some bubbly, finding out what she likes and dislikes and making her feel good about herself. She an choose as many dresses as she like to try on for her hour's appointment (no one else can come in the shop during this time) and if she needs advice with alteration tips, accessories or other styles that might suit then I can offer that. Emotional intelligence and sensitivity are critical to helping her have a positive experience.
What do you love most about your job?
Everyone is so happy! It's so refreshing to never have a 'bad day' at work!!
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
I love a full skirt, so a classic A-line for me. We had a fantastic floral satin Vera Wang dress in store when we opened that I adored - full skirted, with pockets - truly magical.
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
Why not go for a Pantone blue wedding dress - a bit bolder and a bit different but very on trend for 2017. If you prefer something a little more understated then a piece of sapphire jewellery is a classic touch.
What is your favourite wedding dress of all time?
It's that Vera Wang White Collection dress again. It was a great price but just so different - and it even had pockets! What's not to love?! There's a stock picture of it on our Pinterest page at http://pin.it/pAjXP8o
