My excellent service reputation, I love it when we have a bride come to us through recommendation from a sister, friend or other relative
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Decide on your wedding date and book the venue before shopping for your dress. Also be aware of your budget and let us know this when you come for your appointment. Try not to bring too many people with to your appointment, 2 or 3 close friends or relatives.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love it when couples involve their pets, we have had one of our brides labrador as a ring bearer and also a bride have photos done with her pony, this was so beautiful.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After hearingthe brides ideas and looking at some images of styles she likes, we ususally get straight down to the fun part which is trying on the dresses. Most brides then leave with the details and prices for their favourties and then come back to see us to make a decision and have their measurements taken and place an order. Thereafter we would meet with the bridesmaids and once they have chosen their dresses. We then meet with the bridegroom/partner to discuss their outfit/suit hire
What do you love most about your job?
I love it when a bride chooses the dress I have suggested for them and also when they send you thank you letters/cards/messages and seeing pics of them on the bid day, always makes me smile
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
I love the 1950's full skirted ballgowns styles best, I think are just so feminine and fun to wear and always so flatterine
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
Either a blue garter, or stitching a blue ribbon into the lining of the dress, or have the brides name and wedding date embroidered into the petticoat of the dress
