Cath Adam @ The Bride Shop

My experience at The Bride Shop was truly one of a kind. The owner of the shop is such a lovely lady along with her mum, they make you feel so welcome and nothing is to much trouble. I was so nervous about finding ‘thee dress’ but Cath was absolutely amazing. She made it a relaxed and enjoyable experience for me and my bride tribe. I tried on a selection of her dresses which are all gorgeous and at a very reasonable price. I didn’t feel rushed at all and we happily chatted away while trying on the dresses. I really love the dress I chose from this shop and can’t wait to wear it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone. Thank you for everything you have both done for me.

Cath and her mum did a great job trying to find the best dress for me with such a little notice given. I was leaving the country following day for my wedding and due to the pandemic, I was left with very little choice as most of the other shops are still either closed, out of business or high street shops won’t allow you to try anything on. All the social distancing rules were followed, we wore face masks while trying the dresses on and temperature check on arrival made me feel very safe and protected. The shop was spotlessly clean too. They started with asking questions about what I would like, what day is going to be like, what the groom wearing and based on that they gave me several options of dresses, I tried them all on, liked many of them but I really loved one. I was a bit afraid going on my own as was worried I would get pressured to buy a dress however I felt really at ease and felt they genuinely wanted me to get what’s right for me. I can’t wait to wear the dress! Thank you ladies!

Cath and her family were absolutely fabulous! I could not have asked for a better time choosing my wedding dress. I am a plus size bride, and wedding dress shopping could have been a bit daunting. From the moment I walked into the shop I felt so at ease. Cath made my experience so special, and made me feel so comfortable. She even picked out a dress for me which was the one I ended up going for. She is very professional and has a great eye. Everything was so easy, and nothing was too much trouble for Cath. I felt like a princess and all thanks to Cath.

Well, I can’t give enough praise. Cath and her mum Pat are the loveliest people you would ever wish to meet. The dresses are beautiful and there are so many styles to explore. Cath put me at ease and made the experience so fun and enjoyable with zero pressure. Cath was also helpful with picking out dresses incorporating all the bits I wanted. I can’t thank Cath enough and would HIGHLY recommend this store to anyone.
