What is your most memorable wedding?
They've all been memorable! Most of my brides have become friends as we've worked so closely together and each wedding has had its own special something that sums up the couple completely, which, to me, makes a wedding memorable.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Delicate, elegant, feminine, understated, sentimental.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm proud every time my bride sees her accessory for the first time and the smile spreads across her face.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Stay true to yourselves and you won't go wrong. Don't feel pressured to follow trends that don't suit your style.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
My bride, Katie, incorporated her grandmother's pearls and her grandfather's watch, set to the time of her wedding, into her brooch bouquet - she told me that she felt like her grandparents, who had passed away, were with her on her wedding day.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
It's a really easy 3 step process:
1. Zoom: We arrange a Zoom call to talk through ideas and ask any questions
2. Order: I email designs and my bride orders her favourite with a deposit
3. Get excited! Accessories are sent via recorded delivery, tied with a bow and complete with a little something blue!
What do you love most about your job?
The look on my brides faces when they see their ideas turned in to something beyond what they'd imagined :)
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
I send a handmade blue button to my brides to include in their wedding so I love seeing how they use it! I've seen it stitched on to garters, dresses or on to shoes - I'd love to see what you do with yours!
