Whether your wedding will be a wonderland in the woods or the last word in city chic, why not let me help you steal some style from the past?
Real Green Dress draws on decades of professional experience in conservation, curatorship and design. Every vintage piece that passes through our studios is carefully examined and treated before being offered for sale. Gowns are cleaned using the least invasive treatment methods possible. This is not the easiest or quickest choice but better for your dress and for the environment.
In addition to our fabulous collection of party, formal and bridesmaids’ dresses, we have over 100 wedding dresses from the Edwardian era to 1980s in a range of sizes. We have lots stunning vintage veils and head dresses too.
Make your appointment to come and visit our vintage studio on the Hampshire Surrey borders and find your unique gown!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Goodness I've seen so many. Real Green Dress brides tend to be very creative people. Sometimes we incorporate something from a mother or grandmother's wedding attire in a bride's outfit which is always a lovely touch.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We start with an informal chat. We might swap images and ideas and then the bride has a personal appointment to try on gowns. Sometimes she comes alone or brings a stylist or a relative or friends with her. The appointments are very relaxed even though there are sometimes a few tears ( good ones). Some brides take their dress away with them that day, others come back for further appointments when alterations are needed or to try on veils and accessories. I am always available for advice up to the day and I love seeing all the photographs I get sent afterwards.
What do you love most about your job?
I love so many things about my job, I know I am very lucky.
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
I love whichever dress I am currently working on!
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
Traditionally a tiny blue bow stitched under the gown
