- My name is Danny Jewell and I started magic around 12 years ago. I saw a magician on holiday blow up a balloon, pop it then a live dove appeared instantly. I then bought a magic set, got myself a mentor then practised for hours every night with cards, coins and ropes. For me, the best aspect are the reactions of the spectators and the memories magic creates at a wedding. People will talk about the magic I perform for a long time and it makes great pictures for your wedding album. I always have banter with the audience too as this adds entertainment value to my act. I focus on customer service as this is a highly important factor when planning your wedding. I'm happy to have meetings and discuss how I can make your wedding extra special. Please see below information. For a basic understanding of where I can perform: ♣️Photos - perfect to break the ice and essential to start conversation between guests. ♥️Wedding breakfast - performance in between the courses. ♠️Turnover section - guests are settled in at the wedding and waiting around for the evening to start. ♦️Evening party - ideal for those who are not the dancing kind! I have a fantastic reputation, I'm very passionate about magic in general and I'm part of the magic circle. This is where we talk about the latest magic and how we can improve as magicians. I'm constantly learning new magic to keep my act fresh just in case I perform multiple times to the same guests too!

What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding would be one I performed at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire. A number of guests followed me all night, watched me over and over again but still couldn't figure out the magic I did!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Passionate, entertaining, hard working, fun, professional.
What about your business are you most proud of?
People that know me well say I am a quiet person but when I perform, put on my suit for a wedding, my character completely changes. I'm in performance mode ready to entertain and rock the room! I'm most proud of the reactions I receive because magic is a versatile form of entertainment. People of all ages can watch, it's a family show and it keeps everyone interested and curious what I will do when I come to entertain their group of friends.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
I'd recommend couples to meet the wedding supplier in person as I feel a lot more comfortable working with people I've met up with. This way you have full confidence and always ask for photos or videos of work the supplier has done at other weddings.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
An emotional one but... A table dedicated for loved ones with pictures and memories who are no longer with us and would have loved to be at the wedding.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Usually, couples see me performing at a wedding fair or a friends wedding and take away a business card. I receive enquirys via email and by phone. I ask the venue and location, date, number of guests, if any children are attending as I can provide balloons for them and recommend a suitable time to start and finish to fit in with your wedding plans. We then organise deposit information and after confirming all details are correct, I then book your special day to perform! This is a straight forward and easy process and usually takes around a couple of days depending if the enquiry is by email or phone.
What is your #1 top tip for keeping a crowd entertained?
Get everyone involved! That's what I do with my magic, I always involve as many people as possible so everyone feels a part of what I have done.
Where is the most memorable place you have performed?
Working at the house of illusion, Salou Spain. I performed in a dinner show for 2 summer seasons for holiday makers in a stage show and doing close up magic throughout the night.
Have you had any interesting surprises at a wedding?
I'd just finished a show late at night and I got a phone call to perform at a wedding the day after! That's the shortest time wise enquiry I've had! Haha
What is your party trick?
Making wallets disappear but sorry guys, the wife / husband disappearing act... The waiting list is long!
