- Over the years I have been developing my skills and forming routines. I specialise in close-up magic, mostly cards but also coins, ropes, elastic bands and objects that can be used straight from the tabletop. I also love impromptu routines that can be performed on the spot. It has become a sort of mission in my life to try and reacquaint people with 'classic magic' as opposed to this apparent new era of magic which seems to focus more on escapism, stunts, mind reading and modern technology such as iPads. It's the era of magic that came before that I'm interested in. I am always happiest when I am performing my magic. I love meeting new people and making people laugh, but most of all I love the expressions on peoples' faces when they see impossible, close-up magic happening right in front of the faces. I also love audience participation where the magic can happen in peoples' hands. It's so much fun! I perform at weddings, parties, balls, fetes, social and corporate events.
