FIRST WEDDING DANCE LESSONS - London & South East of England “You totally nailed our personality in the routine and the rhythm & flair that you somehow discovered within us means I’m still getting e-mails weeks later about ‘That Dance’.” Nick and Lyndell Creating the First Dance of the rest of your lives. The Love of Dance have helped many happy couples feel confident about performing their first wedding dance to their guests. Nearly all couples have little or no previous dance experience, and all of the couples we work with say, when it comes to the special day, they felt confident and positive about performing their routines. The first dance is personal to you. You choose the song, and we choreograph a routine that you feel comfortable with and suits your abilities in a location convenient to you. Of course we can satisfy the adventure hungry dancers and choreograph routines that are more ambitious, and even vere away from the traditional first dance styles. We’ve choreographed for couples in street and contemporary styles in addition to the classic, more traditional social ballroom and latin styles. We will get you dancing and no previous experience is required! Your First Wedding Dance to remember always. FIRST CLASS EVENT ENTERTAINMENT For a fun, surprise, sophisticated extra to entertain guests at any type of function: Taster dance sessions to help guests learn styles of dance tailored to suit your theme; from latin & ballroom to street dance or burlesque…, accompanied by stunning vocals and live music whilst guests practise and perfect moves. A great way to get people up dancing, breaking the ice and getting guests circulating and relaxed! Our Children's Dance Teachers give a dance party for the kids so the adults can have their own fun! HEN DANCE PARTIES Some popular styles and themes are: Street | Burlesque | Cabaret / Musical Theatre | Glee | Grease | Boy/Girl Band | Pop Divas

What is your most memorable wedding?
We love the couples who come to us with a mash mash of songs that they want to dance too. We love a medley of songs and dance styles!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Personable, fresh, fun, amenable, professional.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Being unique and flexible for the clients in terms of where we can hold the dance lessons.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Start the first dance lessons early on in your planning so you feel more relaxed with the dance on the day with more practise under your belts!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The whole bridal party gets involved in the first dance, flash mob style. It certainly gives the guests something to talk about!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We work with the couples personalities, abilities, theme and aspirations for their first dance, entertainment and hen parties. We don't have fixed premises for the hen parties or dance lessons so we will travel to a location that suits the clients, and we don't have to work in a dance studio either. Quite often we may meet for lessons in an art gallery, a gym or the back of a pub for example. We will meet for dance lessons on a weekly basis, or longer intensive sessions over a weekend for example. You'll learn the foundation steps of your dance style and we'll choreograph a routine which can be as simple or adventurous as you wish. No previous dance experience is required!
What is your No. 1 top tip for keeping a crowd entertained?
Live music throughout the day is lovely - singers through the ceremony, a string quartet maybe during the drinks reception, and something fun and uplifting for the evening reception can do wonders for the atmosphere and make the day so memorable.
