Harriet Parry Flowers Full Description
At Harriet Parry Flowers I combine my love of floristry with my passion for art and design. I Approach my designs as if they were paintings, arranging flowers using colours, textures and shapes that I feel work together. I tend to create experimental clashing creations or wild and loose arrangements, staying true to the natural movement of flowers and foliage both in the fresh and fake varieties. I get my inspiration from so many things, design trends, fashion, art, maybe a moment in a film, a pattern, a particular time in history or just something that's caught my eye whilst going about my day. As well as my floristry service, I also paint wedding keepsakes in the form of miniature watercolour paintings, creating an everlasting memory for a couple of their big day. If you're interested in my flowers, paintings or both, I'd love to hear from you!

Frequently Asked Questions
(7)

What is your most memorable wedding?

I'd say it would be my Mid summer nights dream / Victorian music hall / Working mans club / 70's disco vibe wedding! I like to come up with a playful theme with the couples I work with that suits their individual style and vision!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Bright / Playful / Imaginative / Whimsical / Unique

What about your business are you most proud of?

My diversity and adaptability towards any job, always approached with artistic flair!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Have Fun!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Firstly an exchange of emails about avaliability and budget as well as visuals, such as theme/colour/style/flower types etc. We will then meet in person to discuss everything and get to know each other. Afterwards I'll create a visual quote and a trip to the flower market is always good for inspiration! I will then finalise the quote and book the wedding date. I also like to keep in contact with my couple over the months before their wedding to make sure everyone is happy!

What is the most romantic flower and why?

All flowers are just as romantic as each other as each one will mean something special to different people.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Give them to your loved ones to enjoy!
