Frequently Asked Questions
(10)

What is your most memorable wedding?

Winter Wonderland at Hengrave Hall

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Bespoke, Classic, Sumptuous, Modern, Natural

What about your business are you most proud of?

We're friendly and reliable, providing quality produce and designs

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Collect and compile images to show your supplies what you're looking for. Sometimes its easier to 'show' than 'describe' exactly what you're looking for.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Decorations created by the Bride and Groom, showing their personal touch for their guests.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Once the couple have booked an appointment , I will run through exactly what they need for their day, often demonstrating what flowers and designs they could have, and then compiling a bespoke quote for them, with no charge.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

Antique locket with a photo inside.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

No, just whatever flowers work to provide and create the theme for their wedding.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

Roses, I feel, symbolise romance, with their soft, velvety tactile petals. They are often the first choice when someone is buying flowers for a loved one .

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Enjoy them if you can ! Re cut the stems and place in vases around the home, or give them to guests if you are going away on honeymoon. There are companies that offer preservation, but if this is out of your budget, choose a single, perfect bloom and press it between tissue paper and some heavy books, as a keepsake.
