I offer a wide range of floral options for weddings. I have a minimum spend to cover my base costs but this is below the average price of weddings that I dress. I am a highly experienced wedding florist with expertise in dressing large venues, marquees and tipis. I am insured to supply large floral installations such a hanging floral chandeliers and flower balls which add a huge wow factor to weddings but come at a price! I am happy dressing intimate weddings too, providing banquet style table dressings and floral urns which can be relocated throughout the venue to meet your requirements for the day. I offer a luxury service at a moderate but realistic price. I use British grown flowers and foliage - your wedding will offer seasonal delight, scent and beautiful textures to enhance your day. I do not offer wedding packages- every wedding is unique and I reflect that in my designs and pricing.

You took my vision and amplified it!
Such incredible flowers by AMF. Thank you so much Caroline. You took my vision for bold and bright colours and amplified it with your expertise and creativity It was lovely discussing options with you. You were so sensitive in including a little tribute to our angel baby, Alexandria, in the bouquet and buttonholes. Our venue -The Matara Centre – looked absolutely fabulous for our wedding day are we are so grateful.

Choosing you was one of the best decisions we made
Caroline at Abbey Meadow Flowers is just in a whole league of her own.... we just knew we were in the best hands; she really got a feel for who we were and what we wanted. The first time I cried on my wedding day was when she brought the phenomenal bouquets in to my dressing room to show me. The way she dressed the venue itself was absolutely breath-taking and honestly made me feel like I’d stepped into a fairy tale. Thank you thank you thank you

Locally grown flowers were important
We used Abbey Meadow Flowers for our wedding at Owlpen Manor. Caroline was fantastic from the off. We were fairly flexible with our requirements as we wanted to pick local grown flowers over imported so had to work with the seasons (April) Caroline was able to advise us on the best options and the flowers during the ceremony and reception looked fantastic. Highly recommended.

An amazing job using seasonal flowers
Caroline was the florist for our wedding in February. Definitely not easy to use seasonal flowers at that time of year but something that was important to us and also to her. She did an absolutely amazing job and our flowers were stunning. We had to postpone several times due to the pandemic and we definitely changed our minds a bit over time but Caroline was really accommodating. She was really accessible in the final run up whe we were finalising details. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Read my mind
I didn’t really know what I wanted for my wedding flowers. I knew what I didn’t want and I knew I wanted hydrangeas but beyond that I was stuck. Caroline was so experienced and so thoughtful in finding out as much about us as couple as she could that she then created flowers that captured our style, our personalities and our day all at the same time! The flowers were perfect. That’s all I can say. She suggested she did a tray of wired flowers that my hairstylist could put in my hair. They looked amazing and my husband commented that they were one of his favourite elements of the day. I loved my bouquet. Caroline knew what I wanted when I didn’t even know myself!

Frequently Asked Questions
(10)

What is your most memorable wedding?

A 4 tipi wedding with miles of foliage garlands on beautiful soft grey linen. A stunning triple hoop suspension of floral garlands over the bar, a blousey rose laden floral arch plus additional pedestal arrangements. All in a lakeside setting near Ewen, the source of the Thames.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

My wedding style is very natural, seasonal, "outside in". I offer a very personal service with great attention to detail. I am easily contactable and happy to chat through ideas.

What about your business are you most proud of?

I am proud that I still get nervous delivering the bouquets hoping I have captured the brides ideas. I am proud that my brides often cry tears of joy when they see the flowers I deliver- they truly love their bouquets!! I am proud that I have developed my services to use British locally grown flowers to my weddings. I am proud to grow alot of my own flowers too- especially dahlias and roses to offer true "just cut" freshness.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Relax and enjoy it. There are alot of decisions to make but they should all be about YOU! Create a truly personal experience for you and your guests. Don't follow the herd. Allow your personality and interest to come through- it is YOUR wedding after all and it will be so much more fun and memorable!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A quiz for the guests at the reception on how well they knew the bride and groom! Harry Potter creatures popping out of plant pots and suspended from my floral chandeliers. A swordsman guard of honour. An oarsman guard of honour! A very unusual table plan "game".... Bride and Groom thrones.... Creating a Grooms oak leaf crown- which he wore all day long.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Informal consultation (chat via zoom) followed by a written budget estimate and a mood board of ideas to compliment this Following booking, we continue to chat intermittently via email or phone. I update the booking form each time. This culminates in final confirmation of requirements and payment of balance owing a month ahead of the wedding. I agree delivery and set up time tables. I deliver, set up and then remove my items the following day.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

Lockets, rings, dried lemons, feathers, dried seed heads.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

A flower which is in season and adds special memories to the couple. Otherwise herbs offer more scent and add texture.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

The one which brings back special memories for you.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Gift them to relatives, dry your bouquet in a dark room, press key flowers and frame them, preserve some of the flowers in a resin style paper weight, spread them around your home and enjoy them!!
