Personal Message from the Manager
Name of Wedding Contact: Henk Wesselink
I started working in a florist at the age of just 11 years young, watering the plants and sweeping the floor. Since then I have really grown into floristry and love all things flowers and everything else in between, it’s a real passion. With a Dutch masters degree in floristry and having worked all over th world I think I could be a great asset in helping you creating the flowers for your special day.

What is your most memorable wedding?
When I worked in Bermuda we did an amazing wedding at the beach. The weather was beautiful and it was a pleasure creating the wedding flowers.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, wild, rustic, unusual, different
What about your business are you most proud of?
The many weddings we have done and the repeat business we get from them
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take your time. Don’t rush into things and ask questions.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Couples dogs brought out the wedding rings at the wedding 😍😍😍
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Have an informal chat, we work with a questionnaire so when we meet up we already have all the details so we can go straight into the fun flower part.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
A 100 year old dried rose from the brides great grandmother.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Not really I don’t like to be put in a box where you must do this or that. Everything is possible and it’s more fun to create something different.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
Most people would suggest a Rose but it would depend on each person. There might be a romantic story about an Orchid or Carnation someone has been given.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
You can use them for gifts for people or donate them to your local nursing home/hospice to bight up someone else’s day.
