Having always met you personally at my studio or at your venue and heard from you about your wedding ideas, my hope is that you will receive a very personal response from Amamini Flowers to creating flowers for your wedding day. Totally bespoke, detailed bouquets, flower crowns, church and reception flowers, generous and thoughtfully made. I respond to you and my feeling that following the seasons, results in gorgeous flowers on your wedding day. Using the best flowers possible, either Dutch or British flowers or flowers straight from my own cutting garden. Time is a luxury and your flowers will be the only wedding flowers I will be creating that week. I believe that as a studio florist, without shop overheads you will get great value for the floristry I produce and the time I offer you to create your wedding flowers. I deliver flowers free of charge to a wide catchment area from my studio. I aim to design arrangements with multiple uses. I offer styling advice for your flowers. In my cutting garden I grow scented David Austin roses that can be used for special bridal bouquets when available. David Austin roses don't travel well and cutting direct from my garden, allows these sought after English summer flowers to be used in some Bridal bouquets. Take a look at my website and read more about me and Amamini Flowers - Amamini is latin for "you are loved" - I love flowers. Weddings and wedding flowers are surely about being loved?

What is your most memorable wedding?
A Italianate style May wedding at Iford Manor - it's one of the most beautiful gardens I know - creating flowers for this very special wedding for a lovely couple was memorable. However I have had lovely couples to work with and therefore memorable outcomes to look back on.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Intricate, seasonal, natural, asymmetrical and generous.
What about your business are you most proud of?
That I never give less than 100% effort.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Feel comfortable with your venue and love it.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Giving the flowers to the guests to enjoy after the wedding. Lighting with different styles of light is romantic and magical at any time of year.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I meet for an informal consultation to get to know the kind of ideas they have at the venue or my studio. There is a small charge for this time, £20. If they then wish to engage me as their wedding florist, I ask for a £150 non refundable deposit, that is deducted from the final bill. I then email a detailed quote. I will see the venue and usually meet the bride to discuss details if required nearer the time. I focus fully on the wedding on the days prior to the wedding. I often create the flowers at my brides homes/venue.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
A silver Butterfly - butterflies represent marital happiness - I brought this for my bride as a surprise - it was seen only by the bride.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Every flower has symbolism and I love considering this for bridal bouquets.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
Many flowers are romantic - again the time of year is the greatest consideration. Peonies are gorgeous for early summer weddings - and anything with scent. So Lily of the Valley in Spring. I absolutely adore Mock Orange blossom in early summer. I love autumn colour and Winter weddings with a lot of light and a natural vibe.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
I try to create flowers that can be enjoyed by the brides family after a wedding.
