Hi Congratulation on your engagement. This is such an exciting and fun time to start planning your wedding day and I hope I will be able to assist you. I am often asked what is the most popular flower or trend right not? Well, my approach is based on what you as a couple like/dislike, colours, flowers, plants etc and the type of venue you are looking at. I am able to help you establish a budget or work with your budget and I have experience in working within a range. I hope to hear from you x

'I want to incorporate some flowers into my hairdo for my spring nuptials. What sort of blooms would be appropriate?' Felicity says; Fresh flowers are a wonderful addition to your wedding attire and can easily be added to your tresses in different ways. Hair crowns have become very popular especially for a whimsical-styled wedding. For this I would suggest a mixture of blooms such as ecualyptus foliage, spray roses, muscari, gypsophelia, hyacinth pips, hellebores and small spray chrysanthemums. For a more classic look opt for a few simple flowers such as spray roses, lily of the valley, small orchids and gypsophelia can be pinned into a loosely curled hair style or attached to a hair combe for a classic half - up do. A fascinator created on a hair comb is gorgeoud and can be very individual using, decorative wire, beads and selective flowers such as muscari, haycinth pips, small foliages, ceropegia woodii and small succulents are very flamboyant, individual and fun. Spring flowers are quite delicate and careful consideration should be given to the ones you select. I like to mix them in with more hardly blooms to provide support to the designs and to ensure that they last. I work closely with my brides and their chosen hairdressers to ensure that the blooms chosen will suit the style and texture of my bride's hair and look for their day.

Hi Felicity, thank you so much for everything - the flowers really were spectacular and everything that I dreamed that they would be - and you managed to achieve everything with remarkably little clear guidance from me! I realise now that I was awfully vague about what I wanted but somehow you manged to get what I was after without my really managing to articulate it! So thank you so much for all your help, and for stepping in when Nicky had to drop out, and for producing such wonderful flowers! You really are a super star! Thank you for everything! Yours, Kim and Ollie

Hi Felicity, I just wanted to drop you a quick message to say thank you so much for the beautiful creations. You were my most reliable supplier and you delivered exactly what I had asked for I was so thrilled and everyone complimented how beautiful they were. The pictures just do not do the flowers justice. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you and cannot speak highly enough of you.

Wedding review
From the moment we met Felicity we knew she was the florist for us. She was friendly, creative and so supportive throughout our whole journey. She didn't mind us emailing her with new ideas and was quick to reply. When we had 'meetings' she felt more like an old friend than a supplier. Our flowers were everything we dreamed of and more, I was a little worried my bouquet could be heavy, but it was light and easy to handle. We can't recommend Felicity highly enough! We have so much lavender and rosemary plants left over which we have planted as a constant reminder in our garden. Thank you so much for everything! Love Alice and Lewis

What is your most memorable wedding?

Other than my own, the most memorable weddings have been where very personal elements are including in their special day such as a specific variety of flower, a photograph or a hobby.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Beautiful; creative; personal; cool; unique

What about your business are you most proud of?

Other than being awarded the prestigious title of 'Essex Wedding Florist' two years running in 2016 & 2017/18, I am very proud that I work on every wedding personally and build relationships with all my couples. I love what I do and I hope to share my enthusiasm with all my clients.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Firstly this is your day. Relax and enjoy the process. With regards to planning, make sure you like all the suppliers you choose to work with as they will be responsible for bringing your vision to life. With regards to flowers and budgets, always go for seasonal varieties.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Gosh, there have been many. I think including a memory of someone or something into your day such as your late grandparents favorite flower or perhaps a hobby such as an avid reader, include your favorite books as part of the table design.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Every wedding is different and I provide a tailored personal service so we start with either a questionnaire or I meet personally at the chosen venue or at their home. This free consultation enables everyone to get to know each other and explore ideas and plans. I then follow up with a full estimate, mood boards, designs etc. If all agreed a small 'save the date' deposit is paid. Clients may contact me at any time and designs and estimates can be revised up to the wedding date. There is no minimum spend and I only work on one wedding per day. It is me and when required a group of trained florists.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

I have put a number of 'interesting' items into bouquets including heirloom brooches, necklaces and pictures. I have also included shells from a first date and little Lego people. I often use flowers that perhaps are not available at the time of the wedding due to cost or seasonal availability but are important to the bride to be included.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

Personally no, as I love all flowers and it is not longer the 'Victorian Era' I think it is important to love the flowers chosen and there colour, however if meanings are required I have a wonderful list.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

Personally I think the rose is number one. Having said that it really is down to the individual as if the first flower given to them by their partner to be is a daisy then they might like that included.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Flowers are an investment and I like to find ways in which they can be used a number of times throughout the day and also be given as gifts at the end of the evening.
