my first wedding, it was a mix of nerves and adrenaline, but above all that pure joy to be immersed in piles of the most beautiful garden roses, hydrangea and peony

getting to see the brides face when she sees her bouquet, it makes all the hard work, sore hands and early mornings worth it

don't be swayed by pushy suppliers or relatives, it is your day, so create it just as you want it
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
i love when the gift bouquets are given, I feel the mums are bit overlooked on the day and its a chance to pop the spot light on them and say thank you

tea, biscuits, flowers, flowers, flowers....
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
i made a bouquet interlaced with the brides grandmothers pearl necklaces, it was a subtle touch that meant so much to the bride
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
pick flowers that you love, but consider a scented bouquet, as whenever you smell those flowers it will take you right back to your wedding day
What is the most romantic flower and why?
the english garden rose, there is nothing else that comes close
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
i always recommend passing them onto family, or donating them to care homes/hospices for the patients and nurses to enjoy
