Full Description
Our flowery floristry style is that of the English countryside and the flowers of the quaint cottage gardens that Herefordshire has in abundance. We use many of our favorite flowers such as hydrangeas, roses, peonies, cherry blossom, sweet peas, dahlias and ranunculus to name a few, much of which is grown in mum's and aunties cutting garden. We have been flowering wedding for the last 3 years we are based in Herefordshire but travel all over the country and have done weddings in wales, London and the cotswolds. we are recommended suppliers for a lot of venues in and around the county. In January 2018 we won the Wedding Industry awards 'wedding florist of the year'. We offer besopke designs to all our couples, we offer full services for every wedding but if you only want us to do bridal flowers that is fine too.

What about your business are you most proud of?

That we are a small business that is based on working farm in north herefordshire but has grown to be a fabulous awarding winning florist with a fabulous reputation is a short time.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Plan well, don't stress, find the right suppliers for you, you will know when you meet them, you will just click, trust them and enjoy the ride. and don't forgot a wedding is about you and your fiance who love each other saying i do for the rest of your life, don't sweat the small stuff and don't lose sight of what a wedding is..........

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

the bride and groom had first met at a train station on a bench where wildflowers grow, and the morning of the wedding he went back to that bench and pick a small bunch of wild flowers and gave them to his bride just before she walked the aisle.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Jo will contact you to arrange a meeting to discuss all things flowery, Coffee and cake is on us!! The purpose of our little meet ups is so we can get to know each other, we want you to choose a florist who inspires you, makes you feel comfortable and is someone you can trust with your big day, and most importantly someone you can have a giggle with, flowers are the fun bit! So once I have made the tea and sliced the cake, we will chat through your wedding ideas so we can get to understand your likes, dislikes, ideas and inspiration. Feel free to bring along magazines, swatches, pinterest boards and any relevant examples of things you like. Jo will then put together a bespoke quote for you with a pinterest board to match. A quote will be sent out shortly afterwards. To save your date with us, we require a £50.00 non- refundable booking fee, which will be deducted from your final bill. Jo will be in frequent contact with you in the months leading to your big day, on the days itself we will personally deliver your flowers at least 3 hours before your walk down the aisle, we will help out if needed; make the tea, and pour champagne, sew on buttons (yes I really have done this). We also offer a complementary service of moving your flowers from your ceremony location to your reception location, so please mention if you would like us to do this.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

pompoms, paper cranes, lego men, paper flamingos, feathers, stag horns, to name a few...

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

There are lots that symbioses love but its nicer to use a flower that may have links to you as a couple, perhaps a flower from the first bunch if flowers received or given

to be flowers with hundreds of petals oozes romance, such a peonies, english garden roses, sweetpeas, etc

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

If you want to keep them looking fresh after the day keep them in water and enjoy, alliteratively some brides have them preserve or dried them, others place on lost family members graves, some take them on honeymoon.
