What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Choose your venue and wedding suppliers who best suit your style and who you feel understand the vision and atmosphere you want to create for your wedding.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
There are many flowers that have beautiful meanings and can make your wedding bouquet even more special. Some of our favourites include Hydrangea symbolising perseverance and heartfelt emotion, peonies which represent a happy marriage and freesia for innocence and friendship.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
If your bouquets are designed in a hand tied style with the stems exposed it is best to re-cut the ends and put them in water as soon as possible. You can then either enjoy your flowers for a few days after the wedding or if you have decided you would like to preserve some or all of the flowers then there are companies who specialise in this or you can try some of the DIY methods yourself at home. If you are look to have your bouquet professionally preserved you need to have this booked in prior to the wedding to ensure they have time available to look after your flowers. With the flowers you have from your table centrepieces it's always nice to be able to give some out to family and friends the morning after the wedding, whether they are in small bunches or perhaps a ring or posy arrangement which they can enjoy at home.
