Frequently Asked Questions
(10)

What is your most memorable wedding?

Very difficult question! Each wedding holds it's own unique sparkle and it would be very difficult to choose.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Bespoke, detailed, clean, modern and adaptable.

What about your business are you most proud of?

That I make visions become reality.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Be aware that photographs in magazines are not a true likeness of colour. Even flowers are subjects to photo shopping!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A late grandmothers locket wrapped around a brides bouquet handle.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We would meet for a free consultation where I can understand the brides style, theme, taste etc. I would run through my vision and if the bride is happy I will provide a quote based on what we discussed. If the quote is within budget and the bride would like to proceed I accept a small deposit to secure the wedding date.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

Dried flowers from a mother in laws bouquet.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

I wouldn't ever recommend a flower based on what it is supposed to symbolise. I believe in including flowers that either mean something to the bride, or are suited to the style of the wedding.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

I just adore Ranunculus! They come in the most beautiful shades and some have stunning markings on them. They last for such a long time but unfortunately are not available all year round.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

I do like the throwing of the bouquet idea (but maybe a smaller version) Table centrepieces make lovely gifts for guest who have added something extra to the wedding.
