Full Description
  • Whether you are planning your dream wedding or just nipping to the registry next week Rose&Mary is happy to help you with your flowers. Before you order flowers please come along to a free consultation where Leonoor and her team will talk you through the options so we can make your big day not just how you imagined it, but even more amazing! Leonoor Vader is passionate about the bespoke service that Rose&Mary provide. She deeply understands and values the uniqueness of each wedding. She loves the challenge that each new bride brings her, and encourages them to express themselves in beautiful flowers. Each wedding is unique and there is a close collaboration between Leonoor’s team and the bridal party to ensure that the wedding flowers are exceeding everyone’s expectations. Leonoor is Dutch and came to London in 1997 to study for a Masters in Fine Art at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, working part-time as a florist to make ends meet. Having worked as a florist at a boutique florist in Chelsea, she set up on her own and began Rose&Mary in 2014. As a studio Rose&Mary doesn’t have the overheads of running a shop so they can provide fresh, seasonal flowers at a much more reasonable rate than most florists. It is advisable that you come prepared with a moodboard or a scrapbook with as much visible information so we can have a good idea of what you would like. All consultations are no hassle, no obligation free of charge and we can either come and see you or you come and see us. As weddings are such a personal and varied occasion we can’t really provide you with a pricelist but as we are a studio florist with little overheads we can provide your wedding flowers at a much more competitive rate than most florists.

Ask a question
What is your most memorable wedding?
No wedding is ever the same; flowers stuffed in a pineapple, a green parakeet feather in the buttonhole, flowers from your grandmas garden, I've done them all. A successful wedding is getting it right ( flower wise) with the bride and groom!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Personal, bespoke, seasonal, individual, creative.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Getting it off the ground while having 3 little ones to look after as well.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do what you want And what you love, not what is expected of you. The quirky weddings are always the best!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I think the 95 year old flower girl who was the grooms grandmother. It was so sweet!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initial phone call, meeting, quote with mood board, site visit, second meeting, flower delivery!
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
I've added little photo frames of family that were no longer with the bride and groom.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for brides?
Too many!
What is the most romantic flower and why?
Too many!
