Based on a small farm in Lincolnshire, we provide a complete service from growing the flowers to making the bouquets and decorating venues. We grow over 200 varieties and have flowers available from March until October/November. Using the full range of flowers, grasses and foliages grown here together with additional product sourced from other British growers, we try to create a beneficial impact on the environment with no air miles, limited road miles and encouragement of lots of wildlife from bees to butterflies and birds. We are very reluctant to use imported flowers and keep these to an absolute minimum. Brides may walk in the field with us and to choose the colours and flowers they like. Given sufficient warning, we can grow varieties especially for them. We provide a full floristry service, and venue decoration if required. We are also happy to provide bouquets, buttonholes and buckets of flowers to brides and their families who wish to take an active part in the wedding.
Bespoke wedding workshops are offered - Grow your Own Wedding Flowers or an afternoon spent practising bouquets and buttonholes prior to collecting buckets of flowers. Our services suit the relaxed couple who know what colours they like and are prepared to let us choose the best available blooms to create a bespoke wedding. We rarely promise specific varieties only beautiful flowers.
We decorate venues from ballrooms, to barns and churches. We have also provided long distance flowers for a wedding 48 hours in advance - the flowers travelled from Lincolnshire to Cumbria in hot August weather and the bride made contact the following week to say they were all perfect and still looking good having completed the return journey! We love quirky and unusual requirements, including a bride who insisted on a buckets of very dead looking allium seedheads, and another who placed a full order 10 days before the wedding! Talk to us - flowers are our favourite subject.
