What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Be practical, have a wish list and add extras if affordable. Don’t try to out do anyone, be yourselves just bring out your personalities, and use your skills, jobs, places you have been and love for each other to Personalise your wedding.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Bride and Grooms that have made their own signs, messages to family and guests and flowers to the bride on the morning with a loving message.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Brides normally contact me first. I then arrange a consultation if possible or we can do a Facetime or Skype consultation. We then email estimated prices for the flowers required and once I have a confirmation on having our services we send the full itemised wedding or event planner.

Shells, fairy lights, brooches and feathers and now quite often have mini photos of loved ones lost.

I often get asked for the foliage myrtle a meaning and representation of love . I also have a flower book full of meanings of each flower for brides that may need to have a little something added as the Royal Wedding Brides have done.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

The most romantic flower has to be roses, popular varieties are David Austin roses , brides have loved the large peony type roses in their bouquets, comes available scented , as a spray and available all year round in many vintage and modern colours .

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

I have advised giving to family and friends , anyone that has helped, by a graveside if a loved one has been lost and needs to be remembered , also churches or nursing homes . Some brides have their bouquets dried and framed .
